Ducati Monster description
This is 1 beautiful bike, with lots of upgrades including Fast by Ferracci carbon exhaust, Sargent premium seat, Scott steering damper, K&N air and oil filters, and various other carbon upgrades. Over $1500 in upgrades. Terrific condition. Only 9700mis on it. The "i.e." indicates fuel-injection. 2001 and 2002 Monsters are, in my opinion, the best of both worlds - new enough to be fuel injected, but old enough that they're not overly computerized. No magical red key, and no need for expensive Ducati diagnostic equipment to modify the engine.Unfortunately I just don't ride it enough to justify keeping it. The Multistrada was the first of five motorcycles from the “Die Hard” actor’s personal collection that will be sold to benefit the Boot Campaign, a non-profit organization supporting active and retired members of the U.S. military.

Italy Recognizes Cultural Importance of Ducati Museum
Wed, 18 Jan 2012Italy’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has granted official recognition to the Ducati Museum in Bologna, Italy, for it’s cultural significance. The Museo Ducati‘s archives have been deemed to be of such cultural importance, they deserve to be part of Italy’s national archive. First opened in June 1998, the museum houses documents form Ducati‘s technical archive as well as a vast collection of engines and motorcycles.
