Until yesterday I'd never even heard of this bike let alone seen one. I didn't know anything about it. I still don't, really but I dug up these words on the bike and thought I'd share them.

A subspecies of the Ducati Scrambler

While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.

Barni Racing‘s Eddi La Marra captured pole position on the Ducati 1199 Panigale and led for the first six laps before the race was red-flagged after Team Brazil racer Heber Pedrosa crashed his Kawasaki ZX-10R. The race was restarted as a five-lap sprint.
