2013 Ducati Monster on 2040-motos
Ducati Monster tech info
Ducati Monster description
2013 Ducati Monster 796 ABS with 2656 miles. Last of the beloved air-cooled motors...
Very clean, like new cosmetically. Never dropped. A really nice comfortable setup as well as versatile. Beautiful dealer installed TERMIGNONI exhaust with removable sound baffles, sounds unbelievable! Take them out and wow! The GIVI top case is removable, but it will hold your helmet and some gear as well as act as a much appreciated backrest for a passenger. The "slightly" higher and further back Rizoma black bars were carefully chosen and are very comfortable. Aluminum adjustable hand levers. were added By adding the well designed small and good looking PUIG windscreen and the windscreen deflector allow you to deflect quite a bit of wind and noise while still looking sporty and without being bulky. The hand guards work and are easily removable. The Cortech tank bag is just the right size offering generous and ample extra storage for most day trips. RAM cell phone mount installed. Rear Stand included in sale. I do have the painted seat cowl (not in the pics) and it comes with the bike as well as any stock parts removed except the exhaust. Also, I changed the rear sprocket as most recommend to minimize the slight stumble in first gear, it is a GREAT and needed option! Can't think of anything else I would do to this machine and it's all expertly done for you... I spent some time and thought to set this one up. I used to be a BMW Motorcycle Dealer and have a feel for a comfortable and functional set up, this one hits the spot! Talk about a pure lightweight machine that performs and rides impeccably and sounds so sweet... I really don't want to part with this sweetheart of a machine but I am raising cash to relocate to Florida and am motivated to sell it now. I hope I'll have the pleasure of setting up another some day soon, but for now sadly, it must find a new home. If you want a Ducati Monster, look no further, and get ABS brakes! I will assist with shipping company or pick you up at the Albany International Airport for your ride home if you like. Not much else to say, but to ask questions through eBay or call / text 518-229-6901 anytime. Thank you! Ron Buyer to pay for any shipping charges. $500 deposit within 24 hours and the balance in 7 days. I can hold the machine if need be for a reasonable amount of time to be discussed. Call. |

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions
Thu, 06 Feb 2014There is no real off season in Moto GP. Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all. This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery. We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential. Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon. And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package. Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle. Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general. Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
Casey Stoner To Be Named MotoGP Legend
Fri, 11 Oct 2013There’s no question Casey Stoner was (and still is) one of the best riders ever to throw a leg over a motorcycle. His accomplishments on two wheels, especially his championships on both Ducati and Honda machinery, are proof. Next week at the MotoGP round at Phillip Island in Australia, Stoner will join a distinct group of riders as he will be officially inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame.
Volkswagen Reveals Ducati Panigale-Powered XL Sport
Wed, 01 Oct 2014The Volkswagen Group-Ducati relationship has finally birth its first child, with the German manufacturer revealing the XL Sport concept car powered by the 1199 Superleggera‘s V-Twin engine at the Paris Motor Show. Though only a concept model, the XL Sport received the special honor of being the 200 millionth vehicle produced by the Volkswagen. #456475582 / gettyimages.com Based on the earlier limited-production VW XL1 car, the XL Sport swaps out its diesel plug-in hybrid powertrain for Ducati’s 1199cc engine which claims 197 hp and 98.8 ft-lb.
