Ducati Monster description

Selling my 2009 Ducati Monster 696 with extremely low miles -- just over 4k!! I believe 4057 to be exact. It's all matte black with a few splashes of carbon fiber. The bike has been well cared for since I've owned it (I'm 2nd owner). Never been dropped, it's in pristine condition! This is a great bike for first-time riders - great amount of power, but still a very comfortable ride. Always garage kept!

I've also made a few upgrades to the bike, which I've listed below:

-Carbon Fiber upper and lower tank covers (see pics)

-Carbon Fiber rear seat cowl (see pics)

-Carbon Fiber heat shield

-NEW brushed aluminum handlebar (looks cleaner than stock)

-fender eliminator kit

-smoked LED rear taillight

New Spy Photo of Near-Complete 2013 Ducati Multistrada/Hyperstrada 848

The latest spy photo of Ducati‘s upcoming 848-engined model continues to muddle the debate as to whether the new motorcycle is a Hypermotard or a Multistrada. The new model appears to blend elements of the two existing bikes with the liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° engine and an all-new frame. What will likely emerge is a new model with a couple of variations, a sport version and a touring version, This latest picture (the one shown below the jump has been tweaked for better contrast and a bit of sharpening) reveals the new side-mounted exhaust design and Ohlins suspension.

Last month, we wrote about the Diavel Drag Race at World Ducati Week 2012 starring Ducati’s current MotoGP and World Superbike racers and the one and only Troy Bayliss. If you missed it, the retired three-time WSBK Champion Bayliss defeated nine-time Grand Prix Champion Valentino Rossi in the drag race competition on Ducati Diavel Carbons. Our initial post featured a video of highlights from the drag race competition shot by Italian website Motociclismo.it but it was filmed by a single camera from an awkward vantage point.

Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
