Ducati Monster description

Hi,

I'm selling my '09 Ducati Monster 1100. I honestly am hesitant to sell it. But, here's the gist. Purchased it 2 months ago from a single owner who barely used the motorcycle with 2626 miles on it. I rode it for 50 days in which I first gave it to Ducati Manhattan to get the battery and voltage regulator, timing belts and new tires installed with the service costing me $1800. The new tires (Michelin Pilot Power 3's) were only installed 100 miles ago so the tires are okay for at-least 6000 to 10,000 miles.

To me, I purchased this as an investment piece as it is the last air-cooled Ducati Monster ever made and if you are an auto enthusiast, you'll know why it is valuable. But, I have to move to London, UK so I have to sell it. If it doesn't sell for my asking price, I'm just going to ship it over myself. Thanks.

That used to be a Ducati 1098

I spotted this on my tinterweb travels. It's allegedly the demonstrator bike from a Ducati dealers on the isle of Jersey, in the English channel. The only information to hand is that the bike spat the rider off and the bike hit a tree - the only one for miles - and burst into flames.

Ducati Makes Progress as Sepang MotoGP Test Concludes

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

The good news is Ducati managed to trim another second off of Valentino Rossi‘s Day Two test time. The bad news is the Doctor is still over a second behind Casey Stoner. Of course, considering how much faster Stoner has been compared with everyone else at the MotoGP test in Sepang, that’s nothing to be ashamed of.
