The Ducati is in great condition. It has had all of its check-ups.Recently inspected in NY
Recently serviced, i have been riding back and forth from NYC to Montauk for 5 or 6 times, runs great.. When I had it serviced last summer, the technician said it looked like it was brand new inside and out. World Ducati Week 2012 Draws 65,000 Fans
Mon, 25 Jun 2012Ducati announced a record 65,000 fans attended its World Ducati Week 2012 celebration, with fans from around the world gathering in the Misano Circuit to celebrate the Italian brand. The record crowd took in the entertainment including test rides, live music and feted Ducati’s MotoGP and World Superbike racers. One highlight was the drag race featuring some of Ducati’s current racers and retired WSBK Champion Troy Bayliss.
2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands
Wed, 17 Aug 2011Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.
