Ducati Monster description

For sale: The most beautiful blue and white S4R (996 8 valve Super Bike Engine) which I ordered in the spring of 2003 from Fast By Ferracci when it first appeared in the magazines. I took delivery of the first one they received on October 28, 2003. After the catalytic converter was replaced by a straight pipe. Ferracci installed a Power Commander which was personally mapped by the legendary Eraldo Ferracci himself. The dyno results are included in the photos. A short license plate kit was installed.to clean up the rear beer shelf. Other than that, the bike is totally stock except for a fabulous billet clutch cover. Notice that the passenger pegs are not on the bike because I never carried a passenger. I have them and they are perfect and included. I have the catalytic converter if you want it. Notice the bike has a Sargent seat, but I have the stock seat which is perfect and included. The tires have less than 2000 miles on them. This bike is stunning. I once scraped the bike not moving and broke off the brake lever and put a scrape on the mufflers, BUT I have new perfect mufflers (see photo) and they are included, too. There are no other scratches or defects. The only other time I saw this color S4R, it was on display at Barber. That's how beautiful it is. Already a classic! I was 55 when I bought this Monster, but I am now 68 and it is too much for me to use the right way. Never involved in any mishap, so it's a lucky machine, too. Questions? Call me. Radical Ducati: RAD02

Fri, 14 Jan 2011

I found this Ducati on tinterweb and I love it. Its RAD02 Pursang name hardly trips off the tongue, but the bike is a thing of beauty in the eyes of this beholder. Based around a Multistrada 1100 engine, with Keihin FCR41 carbs, Ohlins front and rear suspension and the swinging arm off a Monster S2R all bolted onto a custom frame.

The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
