2004 California Red 620ie, bought it in 2006 at 2200 miles. Two kids & two years at school later, have managed to ride it for only 2700 miles and I suspect it will be the same situation for another 6-7 years until the one year old grows up! New tires & brake pads with barely 500 miles on them, new battery and new timing belt (all significant expenditures). Includes the Red Key and the code card. Have the complete set of maintenance records including from the previous owner. Also have the original fairing, manuals and owner catalogs. Will throw in a battery tender, new leather gloves and chain lube for FREE. The bike has ALWAYS been in a garage, NEVER been put down and ALWAYS inspected & repaired at a Ducati facility. The 2015 Ducati Diavel receives the latest dual-spark version of the company’s Testastretta 11° engine, most recently equipped on the new Monster 1200. New pistons increase the compression ratio to 12.5:1 from 11.5:1.
Women’s Sportbike Rally Invades Deal’s Gap September 6-8
Wed, 22 May 2013The annual Women’s Sportbike Rally presented by Draggin’ Jeans is returning for the eighth time to the Smoky Mountains the weekend of September 6-8 for fun, friends, riding and raising funds for the fight against Melanoma. The event headquarters and activities also return to the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort at the foot of the famous “Tail of the Dragon.” In addition to the beautiful riding in the area, there will be plenty of event activities for all attendees and their guests to enjoy. There will be Friday and Saturday evening festivities, the Sportbike Night and the Sportbikegirl Pit Party, which will feature games, raffles, door prizes, entertainment and camaraderie.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
