Ducati Monster description

2001 Ducati Monster M900S.i.e. The S model includes the carbon fiber pieces and the fly screen. Second year for fuel injection on the Monster models. I have replaced the front fender with a painted one as the original was looking a little faded, which is included. 900 cc's, 6-speed.  There are 1 inch bar risers. Adjustable front forks. Arrows slip-on exhaust, boarderline neighbor friendly but sound good. I don't have the poem's as I didn't get them with the bike either.  Bee, not included.

Condition is pretty good but I won't call it perfect. Adult ridden and hasn't been abused. Metzler M3 tires have about 3500 miles and not much sign of wear, handles well. Recent maintenance includes an oil and filter change & tune up: spark plugs, valve adjustment, timing belts.

Kelly Blue book says $4200, MCN says $3900.  Buy it now for $3995.

Feel free to ask any questions, thanks for looking.

Man stuff: Ducati Zippo

Wed, 18 Jul 2012

I don't smoke, so my excuses for buying this are very limited - but that doesn't stop me wanting it. It's a Ducati Zippo from 1982, not that Zippo technology has changed much in the last two decades but the price of this one has. If it was a tenth of its £170 asking price, I might have bought it.

What's Bayliss up to these days?

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

Troy Bayliss might not be in the limelight these days, but the ex-World Superbike champ has been busy down under testing Aussie V8s for the Jack Daniel's Racing Holden team. Bayliss has made it quite clear that he wants to race V8s as the next stage of his racing career. He allegedly turned down a multi-million dollar contract from Ducati when he decided to quit WSB.
