Ducati Diavel description
New 2015 Ducati Diavel Carbon exemplifies the distinctive style and sporty soul of the Diavel with high-quality, light-weight components. Clad with carbon fiber and Marchesini forged wheels, weight is reduced to just 205 kg, only further enhancing the performance of this extraordinary motorcycle. The intoxicating design, with innovative LED headlight, and refined rider comfort of the new Diavel may imply "cruiser", but the brute force of its 162 hp Testastretta engine and its razor sharp handling prove otherwise. |

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S Receives FIM Superstock Homologation
Thu, 01 Mar 2012It was only a matter of time but finally the news is official: the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale S has been added to the list of homologated motorcycles for the Superstock 1000 Cup The Panigale was noticeably absent from the initial homologation list the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a couple of weeks ago. Now, with a month until the 2012 Superstock 1000 Cup starts at Italy’s Imola circuit, the 1199 has been cleared to complete. The delay was merely a formality however, and teams such as Effenbert-Liberty Racing have already begun testing the Ducati 1199 Panigale S in racing trim.
Ducati MotoGP: Smoke and mirrors
Tue, 01 Mar 2011There's often more lurking within a seemingly innocuous press release than first meets the eye. The latest communication from Ducati's MotoGP spin doctor would, at first, lend you to believe that the team are buoyed with steely optimism and are hopeful that their hard work ethic and diligence will get them to the top of the time sheets in two shakes of a 10 mil' Facom T-bar. The results from their pre-season testing sessions have so far been pretty glum with both Nicky Hayden and their golden boy Valentino Rossi trailing the rest of the pack by a couple of seconds.
