Low mileage iconic bike with just over 4k, usually starts first kick, runs strong and brakes sharp. If you saw this bike listed a month ago, I've done a bunch more work on it since then and it's now rideable. This was a barn find that I've cleaned up and worked on over the past 6 weeks, it was sitting in dry, dusty storage for 30 years before that. I'm not an expert and it still needs a few parts and adjustments but this is a rare model in good running condition with a clean open Massachusettes title. It has lots of compression and power. Recent work includes: Carb clean and rebuild Oil change New battery Checked that wheels are true Checked valve adjustment Checked points adjustment Made sure all control cables are attached properly and functioning This is a running project that still needs some TLC but it's almost complete and it runs strong with no oil leaks or exhaust leaks. The tank is solid with no rot, but it needs to be properly cleaned out and the petcocks need new seals. Seat is clean with no cracks or tears. I've been test riding it with an auxiliary fuel bottle that I hang off the handlebars. It needs new tires, new bulbs and the tail light wire needs to be reconnected. I get great pleasure helping riders (especially if it makes them safer) although I do come across some weird and wonderful riding in the process.
Ben Spies to Ducati in 2013
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Ducati has confirmed that Ben Spies will be riding for the Italian company in next year’s MotoGP championship. Joining Spies is Moto2 phenom Andrea Iannone. Apparently, Spies and Iannone will be competing on the Pramac Ducati team and “will be supplied with official equipment.” With Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso already confirmed for the factory Ducati Team, this announcement concretes a competitive, four-pronged attack for storming next year’s championship.
Portland’s MotoCorsa Opens Museo Ducati Exhibition

The Portland, Ore., dealership clearly knows how to have fun. MotoCorsa also knows Ducati‘s heritage, opening an exhibition of more than 30 significant Ducati motorcycles spanning seven decades.
