Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children

Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. New Stuff: Weise Street Fight Glove

Summer is coming and we are all planning on getting some aviator-wearing-open-faced-chopper miles in this year. Needless to say race gloves aren’t quite going to fit the bill so Weise have sent in a pair of their Street Fight Gloves. They are light weight and flexible thanks to the stretch panels but do feature double layers of leather in key areas around the palms and fingers.

Resident Evil Inspired Chopper

Capcom, the creator of the popular video game series “Resident Evil”, has teamed up with Savage Cycles out of Maryland, to create this zombie killer custom chopper.  The project is scheduled to be completed in January, the limited bikes to be built has no price tag at this point but I am sure it will be steep. Check out some preview shots and a list of some interesting features. From the Capcom blog: The bike is low-slung and mean, armored but fast, with quick access to a number of “weapons” and items, such as an airsoft shotgun and pistol, “health sprays” and a combat knife strapped to the front fork.
