Shovelhead chopper in a hardtail frame. Frame by Paughco, springer front end by Paughco. Risers by Paughco, oil bag by Paughco. Performance Machine handlebar controls, Performance Machine brakes. Mini apehangers, belt drive by Belt Drive Limited. S&S Super B carb, Accell super coil, Odyssey dry cell battery. Oil cooler, like new tires. Jugs are 40 over, heads were rebuilt at Harley dealer. 21 in front spoke wheel by Custom Chrome, spoke Hog rear. Drilled discs and braided lines.
Selling this bike due to accident on my bagger which has left me unable to ride anymore. Sharp looking bike starts 1st or 2nd kick usually. Very dependable, and she has never made me push her anywhere.

Mon, 20 Apr 2009I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle. Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

The interesting thing about this week’s shows is that I’m in Vegas as a guest critic of the builds, a three-team competition between Paul Teutul Senior, Paul Junior and the notorious Jesse James.
