Zacky's Wide Tire Custom Chopper / Pro Street Winner of 2 bike shows! Built in 2007 by Zacky's Custom Rods, award winning custom bike builder. This was custom 100% custom built from the frame up. The paint alone was $7600. Paint is house of Kolor UK01, Brandywine Candy over MBC01 Shimrin metallic base over BC26 base coat. Artwork is by Jim Parish of Tacoma WA. The bike is just over 9' long and very stable with a back seat that can be attached and rear pegs installed. Based on riding trend this bike has less than 700 miles on it. Always garaged. Check out the laser cut Billet aluminum and show chromed flame wheels made by Weld Racing. Notice also the clean the handle bars are with internal throttle cable and internal brake and clutch hydraulic lines. Every detail was taken care of, right down to custom bent polished stainless steel oil lines. This bike is based on a single down tube War Eagle Custom Harley Davidson Soft tail style frame. There is sheet metal on the oil bag to make it fit flush in the frame. The rear fender is Fat Katz 250 , and the tank is also Fat Katz with a custom extension to make it longer. Front Forks are Ceriani 64 mm inverted wide glide 2" under Engine is Rev Tech 100 ( approx. 1605 cc ) Black and Chrome ( Balanced and blue printed by Rev Tech ) with compression relief valves. Transmission is 6 speed Baker Knock Off ( Chrome ) Starter is Spyke all balls ( Chrome ) Ignition is Dynatek D2Ki-1P 2000i programable and just installed. Coil is dual fire Nology and wires are Accel High Performance wires. Wheels and rear pulley's are Weld Racing ( Chrome ) Forward controls are Accutronix ( Chrome ) Hand Controls are Performance Machine Contour ( Hydraulic Clutch and Brake - Chrome ) Oil Lines are stainless steel. Pipes are Hooker Headers and have removable baffles. This is a head turning traffic stopping show bike. But wants to be on the road... Total Over-all cost to build with parts , labor, and paint cost just over $47,000

Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
