American Chopper is Canceled
Mon, 08 Feb 2010After six seasons, the run is finally over for America’s favorite dysfunctional custom chopper family. The not so surprising news was announced on Saturday, February 6th by TLC. Motorcycle.com on “American Chopper”: Senior vs. Junior vs. Jesse James
Mon, 05 Dec 2011The infamous “American Chopper” TV juggernaut rolls on, with a two-hour special to be broadcast tonight and culminating with a live event on Tuesday evening in Las Vegas. The interesting thing about this week’s shows is that I’m in Vegas as a guest critic of the builds, a three-team competition between Paul Teutul Senior, Paul Junior and the notorious Jesse James. Custom Electric Motorcycle [video]
Fri, 14 Aug 2009Paul Teutul Sr. from OCC, once again finds himself in the spotlight, this time it’s for building the worlds first totally green custom motorcycle that was commissioned by Siemens. Some features of the bike include: a clutch-less transmission, 27-horsepower engine and a top speed of 100 mph. You can plug the bike into a standard 110-volt plug, takes 5 hours to fully charge and has a 60 mile range on a full charge. The Siemens Smart Chopper will go on tour this year to help promote green technology and will be auctioned off for charity at some point next year.
