Chopper Chopper description

I am not like most people holding a Motorcycle Auction, I will tell you everything I know about this bike. I professionally Restore and build Corvettes and Motorcycles. We brought this motorcycle into our shop and did a frame off restoration and custom upgrade on it in 2012. I have ridden and enjoyed it since then. The bike carries a rebuilt title because it was in the basement of a house that had a kitchen fire. The bike had some smoke damage and bent fuel tank and seat cover but had not been wrecked or heat damaged and I was told it had  never been dropped.
2004 was the first year of the right hand drive system on the LSC chopper making this one of the best balanced motorcycles ever built. This is an awesome running, riding and of course looking chopper.
The engine and 6 speed transmission were removed and the bike was completely torn down to the last nut and bolt. All aluminum parts were sent to the chrome shop for buffing and polishing All electrical parts were useable but were replaced with a top of the line  better wiring and ignition and instrumentation as the factory components have been known to be very troublesome. The sheetmetal , tanks and frame was completely stripped and custom painted by a well known custom painter in our area. All cables, tires, controls seat and other parts were replaced with new. Everything was reassembled making this bike like brand new again . It is painted house of colors Lapis Blue with  Blue marbleized flames which are semi ghosted that really pop in the sunlight and has hidden skulls incorporated in the flames.                                                                                                                  Pay close attention to the upgrades and improvements that were done during the total restoration.
  • New stretched American Ironhorse fuel tank, (correct for the LSC.)
  • Ultima single fire digital ignition system , a huge improvement over the factory ignitor ignition system.
  • Ultima plus complete electrical system which is state of the art and trouble free compared to the troublesome factory wiring system.
  • Badlands turn signal module to allow the use of 3rd. brake light and allowing the turn signals to operate independently.
  • Dakota digital instrumentation , another huge improvement over the troublesome factory unit.also has led indicators.
  • 3.35 open  drag race style belt drive primary.
  •  chrome passenger foot peg bar
  • Tall sissy bar and backrest pad and passenger seat
  • Vance and Hines Big Shot radius exhaust
  • Extremely stunning and flawless paint scheme which would be well worth inspection in person.
  • Adjure custom headlight and bulb glassware
  • led turn signal mirrors front
  • razor custom mirror lens rear turn signals
  • All lights and indicators except headlight are LED
The American Ironhorse LSC is a true rigid frame real chopper, check the close tire to rear fender clearance. This chopper has a 280 rear tire and the largest optional engine 124 cubic inches and is identified as such through the VIN number. This bike is a blast to ride and can be ridden two up comfortably due to the large rear tire. My wife and I have ridden it on several all day trips and this thing really turns a lot of heads.  I am available for an inspection by you or your representative and will be glad to talk to you if you have any questions or need more information. I can be reached at 770-366-5830. no calls after 900 PM eastern please.
The paint on this bike is flawless with no scratches cracks , spider webbing etc. anything seen as a flaw is either a reflection or a result of my poor photography. Check my feedback and bid with confidence.
I have an enclosed trailer and may possibly deliver the bike to you , Call lets talk
I reserve the right to end the auction as the bike is for sale locally however I will not end the auction once the reserve price is met.

American Chopper is Canceled

Mon, 08 Feb 2010

After six seasons, the run is finally over for America’s favorite dysfunctional custom chopper family.  The not so surprising news was announced on Saturday, February 6th by TLC. The Teutuls will always be a part of the Discovery family and we congratulate them on a tremendously successful series run. The show was already on its last legs due to all the family drama which includes a lawsuit between Paul Teutul, Sr.
