According to the New York Post, David Letterman is a big motorcycle fan and could watch the same bike being built all week long. One of Letterman’s bikes did appear in the September 2008 issue of American Iron Magazine and he also wrote the forward to Paul Teutul Sr.’s new book “The Ride of a Lifetime” so I guess he walks the walk and talks the talk. Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame announced it will induct five new members for 2013. The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.

Florida Gators Motorcycle Charity Raffle

If you happen to be a Florida Gators fan and love custom choppers then this is the raffle for you.  The custom Purple Chopper motorcycle, is autographed by Coach Urban Meyer and Heisman winner Tim Tebow. The University of Florida Foundation and the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches will receive 100% of the proceeds. The bike will be raffled off at the UF-South Carolina game on November 13th, tickets are $20 apiece and 7,500 tickets will be sold.
