Chopper Chopper description

MY NAME IS ALEX ENGLISH AND I AM THE OWNER OF OLD E METALWORKS IN SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA. I HAVE BEEN  WORKING AND BUILDING CUSTOM BIKES IN THE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS MANY OF WHICH HAVE BEEN FEATURED IN MAGAZINES AND HAVE GAINED MANY AWARDS. THE BIKE I HAVE UP FOR SALE RIGHT HERE IS IN MY BOOK A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THAT.
THIS LITTLE GEM STARTED ITS LIFE AS A 1995 883 SPORTSTER I BOUGHT IN 2010. IT HAS BEEN A SLOW OFF AND ON BUILD (JUST OVER 6 YEARS) BUT FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS. THERE ARE COUNTLESS HOURS OF FABRICATION ON THIS BIKE FROM FRONT TO BACK AND WHAT I DID BUY IS TOP SHELF. THIS BIKE WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST TO BUILD! I TAKE A LOT OF PRIDE IN MY BUILDS AND TRULY BUILD THEM OUT OF THE PASSION FOR ART AND MOTORCYCLES. I DEFINITELY WENT OUTSIDE THE BOX ON THIS ONE. THIS BIKE IS A STRAIGHT SHREDDER WHEN IT COMES TO THE STREETS FROM THE STANCE TO WHIP THROUGH SOME CURVY ROADS TO THE NARROWNESS TO SPLIT LANES LIKE A HOT KNIFE THROUGH BUTTER, THIS BIKE IS A RIDER!

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle.  Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Custom Choppers for Allstate Insurance by Ness, Perewitz, Fairless Unveiled at Bike Week

Tue, 13 Mar 2012

Mega stars of the custom chopper world Arlen Ness, Dave Perewitz and Rick Fairless have each built a one-off custom motorcycle for Allstate Insurance Co. Each bike embodies themes representing Allstate’s involvement in the motorcycle community, like the company’s motorcycle awareness program called Once is Never Enough (ONE), which Fairless incorporated into his design. A fourth motorcycle, a Victory Cross Country customized by Ness, is the grand prize in Allstate’s national sweepstakes (www.allstate.com/motosweepstakes).
