Chopper Chopper description

1973 cb 750 motor. Jammer velvet ride frame with original oil tank and Springs. Vintage girder with good chrome 8 spoke invader wheels with OK chrome. Permanent magnet charging system. Kick-start only. Dyna electronic ignition and Dyna coils. Roughly 300 miles on top end rebuild. No leaks and good compression. Carbs are almost tuned perfect but could use fine tuning. When carbs are clean and battery has a good charge, it runs great. Just needs attention, it doesn't like to sit in the garage. It is a down and dirty chopper. Bare bones. No gauges besides an oil pressure gauge, No pretty paint, no front brake, although the parts for a Hurst airheart brake come with it.  and it's not flawless by any means but it is a rider. Bitch is fast and cool as hell. I would prefer a transaction to take place in person with a pickup at time of payment.

Ariel Chopper on eBay

Mon, 24 Nov 2008

Normally when I think of a custom chopper, I envision something like Wyatt’s Captain America bike or even retro re-creations like the Harley Davidson Cross Bones. After all the act of chopping normally referred to forks and frames, not chopping wood. A unique ride recently added to eBay breaks from this tradition with a wooden hot rod built around the engine and transmission from a 1952 Ariel Square 4 motorcycle.

Motorcycle.com on “American Chopper”: Senior vs. Junior vs. Jesse James

Mon, 05 Dec 2011

The infamous “American Chopper” TV juggernaut rolls on, with a two-hour special to be broadcast tonight and culminating with a live event on Tuesday evening in Las Vegas. The interesting thing about this week’s shows is that I’m in Vegas as a guest critic of the builds, a three-team competition between Paul Teutul Senior, Paul Junior and the notorious Jesse James. Earlier today I got a chance to see the vehicles for the first time, and what a trio it is!

New Stuff: Weise Street Fight Glove

Tue, 12 Apr 2011

Summer is coming and we are all planning on getting some aviator-wearing-open-faced-chopper miles in this year. Needless to say race gloves aren’t quite going to fit the bill so Weise have sent in a pair of their Street Fight Gloves. They are light weight and flexible thanks to the stretch panels but do feature double layers of leather in key areas around the palms and fingers.
