Can-Am MX500 description
This pretty rare 1985 Can Am MX500 (correct motor & Frame # MX500)started out as a low hour bike on standard bore that was meticulously gone through to make it as close to "like new" as possible. This restoration took over 12 months and everything was done to a professional level (this is not a production line special). You would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. If you are a Can Am enthusiast this belongs in your collection. Below is a list of things that were done to the bike. If you require additional pictures or have any questions at all feel free to contact me. I would be happy to answer them. I realize this is quite a bit of money so I would be open to a two part payment as long as it does not go beyond a few months. Thank you for looking Bike details:
SHIPPING: costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I don't mind holding the bike for a while once it is paid for. I realize it takes time to make shipping arrangements and I want to make this a stress free experience for the buyer. I do have a pretty good shipper who is very reasonable that I would be happy to pass on to you.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - I have several Over sea's Shipping services that I can refer you to that will crate and ship to countries like Australia, New Zealand, UK as well as other country's in Europe if you require those services. Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.

Santa on a Can-Am Spyder
Fri, 12 Dec 2008Everyone knows that the market for three and four wheeled motorcycles is fueled by aging motorcycle enthusiasts not wanting to let go of that feeling of being in the wind. Similarly, some voyagers in their aging years are opting to travel on the ground instead of taking to the skies. Santa is no different.
