This special edition, Police Special Duty, Ulysses is #96 of only 137 ever made. It has only 19.5K miles and rides/runs perfect. The adjustable suspension, heated grips, and modded seat (gel insert and added heat shield) make this bike very comfortable to ride. The bike also comes equipped with the Buell Comfort Kit which includes heat shield on exhaust, air scoops for more air flow, and a cooling fan on the rear cylinder. I also have A LOT of extras to go with this bike such as: waterproof Garmin GPS, full set of factory HB cases with unused liners, two black fly screens (one autographed), unused standard windshield, new brake pads, new rear tire, new drive belt, owners manual and repair manual. It also has the police wire harness and siren mount on the frame, but the bike was never equipped with the lights or siren. Geoff May To Ride EBR 1190RX In 2014 World Superbike Championship
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During the AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida last week, Erik Buell Racing (EBR) took the covers off its latest sportbike, the 1190RX. The company also announced it would be taking the 1190RX directly to World Superbike competition in 2014, with Geoff May the team’s number one rider. Joining the world championship was a dream both May and Buell talked about regularly, dating back to when May first joined the team in 2010 riding the 1125R, so clearly both parties are excited about the season ahead.
EBR 1190SX Price And Specs Now Released
Tue, 01 Jul 2014At the recent press ride of the EBR 1190RX, held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, EBR surprised those in attendance by unveiling the next model in its lineup, the 1190SX streetfighter. EBR is calling it “a true naked streetfighter-style sport bike with uncompromised Superbike race-bred performance and handling.” However, virtually no information was given on the bike in order to build hype and suspense. Now more information is trickling in from EBR, the latest being official pricing and specs.
FIM Confirms Erik Buell Racing Meets Production Requirements for WSBK Homologation
Wed, 12 Feb 2014The International Motorcycling Federation has confirmed that Erik Buell Racing has met the required level of production to meet homologation requirements to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The news isn’t much of a surprise, considering EBR and racers Geoff May and Aaron Yates were listed on the WSBK provisional entry list released in late January, but the announcement offers the first official confirmation. Charles Hennekam, the FIM’s technical coordinator and motorcycle homologation officer and Gregorio Lavilla, Dorna WSBK sporting director visited EBR‘s factory in East Troy, Wisc., last month to verify the production level on the company’s 1190RX superbike.
