AIMExpo Celebrates Its 300th Vendor

With the signing of B&W Trailer Hitches the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has committed 300 exhibitors to its inaugural event this October in Orlando, Fla. “To think that just three weeks ago we were announcing our 250th exhibitor and to now be at a point where 50 more brands have committed to the expo is absolutely remarkable,” says Larry Little, VP and GM of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. B&W Trailer Hitches, an American company, produces a variety of hitches and truck accessories, all aimed at making the process of loading, unloading, and transporting motorcycles as easy and safe as possible.

Buell Motorcycles Shut Down [video]

Update Nov 13: Last Buell Motorcycle Rolls Off the Line An emotional Erik Buell has posted a video on the Buell Motorcycle site officially announcing that Harley-Davidson has shut down all Buell motorcycle production.  Harley-Davidson will honor all warranties for Buell owners, Buell dealers will still be selling the limited supply of bikes that are currently on hand.  Visit Motorcycle.com News for more details. Erik Buell Racing Teases 1190RX Production Model

Erik Buell Racing released a photograph on its Facebook page teasing a new streetbike expected to be called the 1190RX. Official details are sparse at the moment, but the new EBR 1190RX is expected to be a street-legal version of the 1190RS racebike, as the image (see the full version below) sports a pillion seat and pegs, mirrors, lighting and license plate holder. The engine is expected to be based on the 1190cc liquid-cooled V-Twin equipped on the RS.
