Whether you’re using it as a finely tuned track weapon or a daily commuter, the Buell Firebolt owes much of its handling prowess to the 52 inch wheelbase, 21 degree rake and 3.3 inches of trail. The aggressive geometry combined with the rigid chassis makes the Firebolt nimble and precise. Up front, the sportfighter features a fully adjustable Showa® inverted fork while the rear is equipped with an adjustable Showa cartridge. The result is a sportbike that seems almost telepathic, effortlessly responding to rider input. Powered by a 1,203 cc Thunderstorm® air/oil/fan-cooled, fuel-injected 45 degree V-twin, this is the motorcycle for riders who demand a premium styled sportfighter with even more horsepower and torque. This bike only has 10068 miles and is ready for the open road (as long as its a very twisty road) Has just been checked out in our shop and runs and rides perfectly with no issues. Geoff May To Ride EBR 1190RX In 2014 World Superbike Championship
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During the AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida last week, Erik Buell Racing (EBR) took the covers off its latest sportbike, the 1190RX. The company also announced it would be taking the 1190RX directly to World Superbike competition in 2014, with Geoff May the team’s number one rider. Joining the world championship was a dream both May and Buell talked about regularly, dating back to when May first joined the team in 2010 riding the 1125R, so clearly both parties are excited about the season ahead.
Erik Buell Racing Opens European Office
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Erik Buell Racing opened a new office in the Netherlands, making the first step towards establishing a foothold for distribution to Europe. Located in Alkmaar, a suburb north of Amsterdam, the new office will help increase brand awareness in Europe while laying the groundwork for eventual expanded distribution across the continent. The office will also play a key role in supporting EBR’s World Superbike Championship team and riders Geoff May and Aaron Yates.
FIM Confirms Erik Buell Racing Meets Production Requirements for WSBK Homologation
Wed, 12 Feb 2014The International Motorcycling Federation has confirmed that Erik Buell Racing has met the required level of production to meet homologation requirements to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The news isn’t much of a surprise, considering EBR and racers Geoff May and Aaron Yates were listed on the WSBK provisional entry list released in late January, but the announcement offers the first official confirmation. Charles Hennekam, the FIM’s technical coordinator and motorcycle homologation officer and Gregorio Lavilla, Dorna WSBK sporting director visited EBR‘s factory in East Troy, Wisc., last month to verify the production level on the company’s 1190RX superbike.
