Buell Firebolt description

1203cc, 8800 miles, all repainted, new inspection 8/14. Performance head work, valves, done by Megaflo. I have all receipts. Runs awesome, rumbles like a muscle car, sounds great. I put 200mis on since I got it. It just started making a slight noise when it gets warm. The dealer checked it out and thinks it might be the rods. This is an amazing bike! I don't want to put any more money in it. plus I also have a hard time riding it with my hand problems. I bought a sportster instead. My loss is your gain. You can have it fixed and ready for spring. Bike with mods should be worth 4500-5000. Extra rear swing arm. Exhaust Jet hot coated black. Engine side covers powder coated black, and other misc. pieces. Good title in hand. $3000 obo.

EBR Nation Part 1: The Making of the 1190RS

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the first in a new series of videos about the new 1190RS race bike. The first video is more of a prologue to introduce the weekly series, but later segments will feature interviews with Erik Buell and racer Geoff May, and a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the EBR 1190RS superbike. If we’re lucky, we might also get a look at what Buell has in store with its upcoming RX, SX and AX models.

Buell Assets Liquidation About to Begin

Mon, 25 Jan 2010

In what is sure to be a painfully long and tortuous process for the former Buell Motorcycle Company (from Eric down to the graveyard shift janitor), the final act of its disassembly will be handled by Grand Rapids, Michigan – based Liquid Asset Partners. In a release from Liquid Assets, the company states the “liquidation sale will start January 28th and run everyday for 30 days until everything is sold. Regardless of cost or loss, millions of dollars worth of equipment and tools will be sold directly on the factory floor.” But don’t think this is just a sell-off of the last few skeletal remains of bikes.

Today, Erik Buell Racing announced Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer in terms of unit volumes by a single company in a calendar year, will return as title sponsor for the Team Hero EBR 1190RS in the 2013 AMA Pro Racing American Superbike series.  The Team Hero entry will be for returning rider, Geoff May, aboard his familiar number 99 machine. Mike Fitzgerald will be his crew chief, with Ryan Kelly and Grant Singley making up the rest of May’s crew. In addition, in a similar fashion to last year, expect to see several Hero technicians working alongside the team as they prepare themselves and hone their skills for racing in India.
