Bobber Bobber tech info
Bobber Bobber description
2008 Leroy Thompson Bobber named "Trendkill". This is a one of a kind, custom motorcycle. 23" front wheel with dual perimeter rotors. 21" rear wheel. Baker TorqueBox 6 speed transmission. S&S 124" motor with ProCharger supercharger. This is on ProCharger's website, has traveled the country as a show bike, and was the prototype for V-twin supercharger kits. This bike has been gone completely through by a reputable bike shop and updates have been made. The bike originally had a dry/open clutch, however the horsepower required a conversion to a wet clutch system. New Barnett clutch pack and lockout kit to handle the power. New Brembo clutch master cylinder and lever. This is the only unfinished part on the bike. Needs to be machined and polished to match brake lever. All new copper braided fuel and oil lines, plug wires, and fuel filter. This bike is a head turner. Gets attention everywhere it goes. And its a rider. Gets about 70 miles to a tank of fuel. |

Steve McQueen’s Von Dutch Customized Bikes to be Auctioned Tomorrow
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Here’s an opportunity to own motorcycles associated with Steve McQueen and Von Dutch - need we say more? Get your credit cards out because tomorrow, January 9, 2014, will see a 1923 Indian Big Chief with Princess Sidecar owned by McQueen and fully restored by Von Dutch put on the auction block at the Bonhams Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction. Previously sold at the Steve McQueen Estate Sale in Las Vegas in 1984, the 74cu (1200cc) Indian is “capable of reaching speeds of 90mph.” If McQueen’s coolness factor isn’t enough, having the notoriety of Von Dutch’s restoration is the icing on the cake.
