Bobber Bobber description

Up for auction is a beautiful custom bobber. This bike is a 2005 Suzuki S40 that has been converted into a hardtail bobber this past year. I bought this bike as a stock S40 in October 2015 with 3600 miles. Since then, this bike has received an entire overhaul. Bike is street legal and has an RI inspection through June 2017. It is registered as a 2005 Suzuki (white). This bike gathers a crowd everywhere I take it. Under 260 miles since rebuild. Clean title in hand.

Recent work includes:
Custom paint with hand painted pinstripes
Powder coated rims
Swapped swing arm with hardtail (integrity of frame has not been compromised)
Swapped belt drive for chain drive
Performance air intake
Cleaned and re-jetted carb
Swapped stock tank with a sportster tank
Custom rear render
Solo spring seat
LED rear turn signals (under fender)
Axel mounted license plate bracket and brake light
New front and rear white wall tires
New front and rear brake
Fresh oil and filter change
Brake fluid change
Dual front headlight
New battery
New speedometer/odometer with indicator lights (speed in km only) - shows 410 km
New petcock
Faux oil tank to high electronics
Leather swing arm bag
Bar end mirror (left side only)
Installed a shorty wrapped exhaust
Swapped stock decompression solenoid with a thumb lever

This bike is in great shape, but does show some normal wear and tear on the parts that haven't been repaced (engine, frame, foot controls, handle bar/controls, forks). All of the electrical works perfectly - the only nuance is the neutral indicator light. The bike was rewired to allow starting in neutral without engaging the clutch, so the neutral indicator light is reversed (the light is off when in neutral and on when in gear).

The bike is located in southern Rhode Island if you'd like to take a look - just send me an eBay message. If you have any questions, let me know!

Willing to ship if buyer coordinates.

British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.

A New Bobber From Victory?

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

On its Facebook page today, Victory motorcycles released a teaser video for an upcoming model to be unveiled December 9 at 7pm CST. The video is a brief 43 seconds that begins with the sound of spray paint being shaken and black paint being “sprayed” onto the camera. What follows is a montage centered around pinstriping and boulevard attitude, as the video sequences between scenes of a man applying pinstripes to what presumably is Victory’s new model and POV shots of this machine rolling down a typical avenue.
