This custom bobber is built upon a 1999 Yamaha Roadstar foundation. Less than 12,500 on this engine, the bike has been rebuilt with new and custom parts for an exceptional and unique bobber look. Features: Custom fender work and paint New Metzler ME 880 21" Front Tire on Powder Coated Spoke rim. New Metzler ME 880 200 Wide Rear Tire on Powder Coated Spoke rim. LED integrated turn signals in front/rear. Custom red wrapped exhaust (straight pipes). Deep/Loud, sure to get attention. Internally wired Powder Coated T-Bar handlebars 1929 Ford Pickup Headlight Model T Ford Rear Tail/Stop light Custom Rear Fender / Luggage Rack / Sissy Bar Open Front Pulley (you can see it turning as the bike moves) Matching Powder Coated Rear Pulley / Belt Guard Motion Pro Stainless Steel Cables & Chrome Guides Custom Side Panels Retained the suspension and swingarm to ensure a smooth ride (but still gives that bobber look) Chromed Forward Controls This bike is a blast to ride. Pulls strong and barks loud. It turns heads everywhere I've taken it. The title remains on a 1999 even though I would consider this a custom build. Insurance on a 1999 bike is significantly less expensive than titling it as a 2016 build. Something to consider. This is one of many Roadstar bikes I've built this year. I know these bikes. I simply want to pass this along so I can begin another project. ** There are two issues to note: The K&N Air Cover has some pitting on the chrome. I intended to install a chrome "bullet" style intake, but didn't get around to making the bracket. I will include the intake in the sale, but the buyer will need to have the bracket fabricated if they choose to install it. Secondly, there are two minor chips. One on the left side cover on the edge and one on the right side cover where the bolt connects to the bike. Again minor, but wanted to disclose. Shipping is not an issue either... 2014 Lito Sora Electric Motorcycle Entering Production
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Canadian company Lito Green Motion announced the start of production for its SORA electric motorcycle. Described as a cafe racer with a bobber twist, the Lito SORA claims a top speed of 118 mph and a range of 124 miles in the city and more than 52 miles at highway speeds. Visually, the Lito SORA stands out from other electric motorcycles.

Thu, 28 May 2009British motorcycle design studio Xenophya Design and product designer Ellis Pitt have teamed up to produce a new company, Mac Motorcycles. Based out of Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire, England, Mac Motorcycles will produce a line of bikes powered by Buell’s air-cooled single cylinder 492cc engines used in the Blast, with a tubular backbone frame. On the company’s website, Pitt describes its bikes as being simple to maintain, include references and details from choppers and bobbers and feature “Harley posture, flat-track manners, Ducati handling”.
