To continue selling my British collection is a 1969 BSA Rocket 3 I have all receipts From Raber Cycle in San Jose Ca.  The receipts total more than the reserve price. It was built to ride but has been sparingly since being restored. It has had most everything replaced mechanically but is mostly original with the exception of stainless spokes, Boyer Ign, and 5 speed of coarse.  This bike starts on first or second kick always. and is a dream to ride The tranny makes all the difference in the world All of the restoration parts and labor bills will come with the bike. Two flaws in the paint is pointed out in the pictures. The successful buyer  will need a deposit of  500 via paypal within 24 hours of the auction and balance via cash or wire transfer within  7 days . Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.
