BSA Roadster Shooting Star tech info
BSA Roadster Shooting Star description
Excellent condition, unrestored, 1967 BSA 441 Roadster Shooting Star. All original with exception to side decals and one tank decal replaced. 2544 actual miles. Stored in a basement for most of it's life. Comes with original front tire, manuals and tool pouch (not original) - as seen in the photo.
Clear Minnesota title. Previously titled in Michigan. Fiberglass fuel tank with NO soft spots and NO leaks. Internal oil lines professional cleaned. Matching engine and frame numbers. This is a very nice vintage / collector bike. Every bit as nice as a Triumph or Norton. Not a Rocket, but still cool! It does have a minor blemish in the bottom of the rear fender- see photo and normal minor wear, but overall excellent condition. Runs and drives great. It takes a strong leg to kick start it just out of storage, but once it's run, it usually starts in just 2-3 kicks. There is a video posted on Youtube of the bike running and kick starting, but eBay does not allow a link attached to this listing. Either search Youtube for 1967 BSA 441 Shooting Star or email me and I can send you a link. I am listing this bike for my wife's uncle, Charles, so I may have to relay questions or put you in direct contact with him. (The video shows him riding it and I am in the other video kick starting it. I have sold bikes on eBay before. Check my history. Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions. |
