Here is a 67 lightning project I hate to get rid of, but I have too many other projects right now, so it's up for grabs. I don't know much about it other than it does have new pistons in it. I hot wired the coils and it started on the 2nd kick. Motor sounded good, needs valves checked, seemed a little noisy. However I would strongly recommend tearing it down as I don't know if the sludge trap has been cleaned. I will aassume no responsibility for the condition of the engine. It is a numbers matching bike with a clear title in my name. There is no seats, tank, side covers or rear fender. I do have the kickstand and the foot pegs and rear brake pedal. Gauges look nice, not sure what up with the covers. All chrome has pitting. AS IS NO WARRANTY OR RETURNS. BIKE MUST BE PICKED UP IN NORTH VERNON INDIANA WITHIN 10 DAYS END OF AUCTION. PAYPAL OR CASH. The revived BSA brand showed its first Gold Star model
Fri, 04 Mar 2022At last we have a brand new model of the beloved brand: after the success of Royal Enfield and Jawa, the British BSA has returned to service. The single-cylinder classic Gold Star will enter the European market - a spiritual successor to the original company's lineup, but with a completely modern filling. The novelty is equipped with a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, two overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder, a working volume of 652 cm3.
Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.
Bonhams Auctioning “Blur” Guitarist’s Motorcycles For Charity
Mon, 29 Sep 2014Graham Coxon, British musician and lead guitarist for Blur, auctioning off seven of his personal motorcycles with proceeds benefitting NSPCC, the UK’s leading children’s charity. The motorcycles will be sold as part of Bonhams Autumn Stafford Sale, an annual event taking place at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show, held on 19th October 2014.
