This bike was a Barn find just bought 3 days ago 6/25/2016 The owner died 8 years ago and he left the bike to his brother who has never been into motorcycles so it just sat in his garage all this time. I have a clear New York State Title in the previous owner's name signed only.The mileage is very low 13,256 The brother couldn't find the key and the gas cap is broken.The frame is rusty but the bike seems to be all there and could be restored or parted out.The gas tank has a few bubbles under the paint and is rusty inside however I did fill the gas tank with a rust remover 3 days ago and it doesn't leak ,the fenders and ferring are in good shape.Handle bars are straight but rusty.The engine is free,seat's in good shape no tears..I did run a hot wire to the ignition all the lights work,starter solenoid clicked but starter didn't turn over could be a bad ground,the exhaust is solid they need paint but no holes very solid. I've never had a BMW before so I don't know about them.This is a no reserve auction.Thanks for checking it out.

Tue, 17 Aug 2010Need something to do on August Bank Holiday weekend, then read below: "Although the South West Motorcycle Show has been running at the Westpoint Arena for the last sixteen years, 2010 is the first year that the show hosts the all-new Vertical Trix European Stunt Championship. The show contains all the usual attractions that have been delivered to motorcyclists from over the south-west and further afield since 1994 – including all the appropriate trade stands, and with strong support from local dealers – plus attractions such a a dyno on site, restaurant, bar, bike displays, live music and of course the live action arena. Although the action in the show arena has previously been stunt displays, rather than a full-on competition.
Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.

Tue, 12 Jun 2012Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
