Have over $22,000 invested here. I paid $ over $19,000 plus all accessories and labor. Someone will make out huge !!! This bike is equipped with the industry leading safest electronics including ABS, traction control, Shift assist pro. 5 riding modes including Rain. Sport. Race, slick and User modes. I never rode it past sport mode. It also has the lates in launch control. DTC. Put limited mode,on board computer with lean angle sensors and data bank all built in to the display for on the fly adjustments. Tires have been upgraded from the original Metzler to Michelins super sticky Power Cup Evo. New naked BMW spotted on track days
Sat, 03 Sep 2016The future generation of the "1-liter" naked BMW S1000R was spotted during the development tests on the territory of the German racing "ring" Oschersleben. Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.
30th Anniversary Edition BMW K1300S Announced for EICMA
Thu, 25 Oct 2012BMW announced it will mark the 30th anniversary of its K series with a special edition K1300S. The 2013 BMW K1300S “30 Jahre K-Modelle” will be presented at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan, Italy in a couple of weeks’ time. Though perhaps not as popular as BMW‘s R series boxer models, the K series served as a platform for a number of technologies that were either new for BMW or new for the motorcycle industry.
WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report
Mon, 13 May 2013Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
