Restored, numbers matching 1976 R75/6 BMW 750cc Airhead with 36,814 original miles. This motorcycle has no dings or dents; all new paint/clear coat with hand-painted pin stripes. Garage kept Arizona bike with no rust. Rare S-Fairing with working clock, working volt meter and new windshield. The top end has been resealed per factory specs. Continental tires have 1500 miles on them. All rubber pieces on the bike have been replaced. New cables, alcohol proof float kits and mirrors. Wheels have been trued and ride very nicely. All engine seals and o-rings replaced. All new handlebar switch pods on both left and right sides. DynaIII electronic ignition. Koni shocks in the rear and Progressive springs up front. Reynolds Rack with a very nice newer set of locking Krauser hard panniers included. The bike also has the original toolkit, owners manual, air pump and BMW factory rag. Valves were adjusted 1K ago. BMW Announces Recall Campaign for K1600 Family Motorcycles
Fri, 25 Feb 2022The recall concerns all 2019-2020 BMW K1600 models due to the risk of rear suspension link failure caused by a manufacturing defect - the strength of the part does not meet the factory requirements. This linkage may be destroyed during normal road use, causing the rear of the motorcycle to fall onto the rear wheel. BMW dealers this spring will begin notifying owners of motorcycles that are subject of the recall campaign to visit an authorized dealership for a rear suspension linkage replacement.

Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.
