80 Bmw R90 600 "boxer" Twin Track Racer Estate Collection Rickman Fairing & Seat on 2040-motos
BMW R-Series tech info
BMW R-Series description
1980 BMW R65 600cc Out of a 50 bike collection. Owned by Marshall Binkley (exRacer Collectors) Estate. Only BMW in the collection. The real deal, raced and campaigned by Binkley in the early 80's. This came out of his estate collection many ears ago. Has good compression, super low miles (~15000), would take very little to get running. A true privateer track racer for the early 80's. Still set-up for racing with street lights. Performance carburetors, tuned header, more. Very cool. Have an original Rickman Fairing & Seat for this bike. Look up Rickman & BMW racer and see how good they look together. Going to the highest bidder or best offer. Give me a Jingle anytime to discuss 313.4143540

Limited Edition 2012 BMW R1200GS ABS Tom Luthi Announced for Switzerland
Tue, 14 Feb 2012It’s not unusual for motorcycle manufacturers to produce special edition models to honor a racer. It is unusual when that racer doesn’t compete on one that manufacturer’s machines though. Nevertheless, Interwetten Racing‘s Thomas Luthi, who rides a Honda-powered Suter machine in the Moto2 World Championship is a BMW brand ambassador, and thus, the German manufacturer has produced a limited edition R1200GS in his name.
McQueen’s Husky on the Auction Block
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Thirty-two years after his death, Steve McQueen still reigns as the coolest movie star to ever ride a motorcycle. One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
Winter weather but summer carries on.
Tue, 14 Jun 2011Aye, it’s been a another good week in the world of Niall Mackenzie. My friends at Moto Direct sent me a new RST Pro Series suit to try out, I acquired some new rubber for my S10000RR and young Taylor Mac splashed home to 12th place on his Aprilia in the 125cc British Grand Prix. Being no fashion guru and pretty ancient now I’m satisfied the brightest suit I’ve ever climbed into looks the biz.
