BMW R-Series description

The RnineT was purchased new in April 2014 as a retirement present to myself. The bike is in 100% showroom condition. Extras include the optional speed hump with seat pad, and the exhaust bracket (required when the rear subframe is removed (as I have done). The subframe will also go with the bike so you can make it 100% stock again; also the "RnineT" logo tank pad and an SAE pigtail directly wired to the battery for charging. The bike has been garaged since new and has been responsibly ridden by an adult rider (and MSF Rider Coach).  The warranty is good until April 2017.

The nineT has been a head turner and joy to ride but I just don't ride it enough. My K1200GT is still my daily driver (soon to be replaced by a K1600GT).

Local pickup or buyer will arrange and pay for shipping. Bank checks must clear before the bike will be released. Absolutely no test rides without cash in hand.

2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Recalled for Loose Side Stands

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

At the moment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce a recall, but American members of Motorcycle.com‘s S1000RR Forum say U.S.

Gold Rush

Tue, 27 Nov 2012

Spotted at this year's Motorcycle Live. The 'net is awash with gold-wrapped and horrendously painted supercars, often sporting Middle-Eastern numberplates but this S1000RR isn't an Arab creation. Nope, it's a one-off paintjob by BMW for the 2012 Olympics, where BMW supplied cars and bikes to ferry around VIPs.
