Up forsale is a mint comdition low mileage bmw s1000rr. There is not one spec of damage or any scratches on the whole bike. Nothing but respect, love and caring has this motorcycle had. 2012 model bmw S1000rr in the rare fire blue similar to the laguna sec blue the color they make the m3s. The bike has 5400 miles and a clean title, never dropped abused or damaged. Bmw serviced, always on top of all maintenance, never once had any issues. The bike runs absolutely perfect and is such a blast to own. The bike has over $12,000 in carbon fiber and accessories. Its the premium model, abs, dtc, shift assist and has 4 riding modes with all sorts of timers and trip options. Aftermarket performance consists of full braided brake lines, frame sliders, akrapovic full titianium to carbon exhuast, power commander five, and a bmc air filter. Functional aftermarket has the bmw motorsport hd fully adjustable rearsets and motorsport hd foldong adjisting levers. Now for cosmetic the bike if isnt blue has carbon fiber all llemberger expensive pieces as follows, complete belly pan, nose cowl windshield piece, front tank cover, side tanks covers vented, fromt femder, rear mudflap with chain guard, rearset heel guards. European Parliament Makes ABS Mandatory, Tighten Emissions Standards by 2016
Wed, 21 Nov 2012The European Parliament voted overwhelmingly in favor of new rules that would increase emission standards and make anti-lock braking systems mandatory for all new large motorcycles, scooters and trikes and quads by 2016. The new regulations, which would still need approval from European Union member states, may only directly affect Europe, but they will have a wide-reaching affect on manufacturers’ product development for other markets. BMW, for example, has already made ABS standard for all its motorcycles for 2013.
EICMA 2012: BMW Motorrad Celebrates 90th Anniversary with Special Edition R1200GS, R1200R and R1200RT
Tue, 13 Nov 2012BMW announced it will introduce an all-new Boxer to celebrate its 90th year of motorcycle production, but you didn’t think the German manufacturer would stop there without a couple of other special edition models, did you? To mark the anniversary, BMW revealed special edition “90 Jahre BMW Motorrad” versions of its R1200GS adventure bike, R1200R roadster and R1200RT tourer in Milan at the 2012 EICMA Show. All three models come in a Sapphire Black Metallic color with matte black engines, gold anodized suspension and brakes, and asphalt gray metallic swingarms, trailing arms and rear frames, and granite gray metallic cylinder head covers, and a nickel-plated polished brass plate on the upper fork.
2014 BMW R1200RT Officially Recalled in US
Thu, 03 Jul 2014BMW has officially recalled the 2014 R1200RT in the U.S., after the company released a worldwide warning to customers about a potential defect with the rear suspension system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the piston rod on the R1200RT’s Dynamic Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) rear shock absorber may break without warning. The problem was first discovered April 1 after a warranty claim was filed in France.
