BMW R-Series description

I'm selling my 2011 R1200R with ~23,000 miles on it. I am the second owner, and know the first owner who is living in Temecula, next town over from me. There is a unique thermostatically controlled fan in front of the oil cooler to provide a cooling assist on really hot days. On board computer, heated grips, bags with BMW bag liners, USB port on handlebars and suction cup base for whatever you want to mount (GPS, etc,.). Seat is the stock comfort seat from BMW. Brand new factory mirrors (came to me with bar end mirrors). Never been down. I recently rode it to New Mexico and back and was trouble free. Tires are Michelin PR3's with 2K miles on them. Everything else is dead stock. I have come to realize I'm an Airhead rider at heart. This is a fly in and ride home ready bike. Dealer Serviced. Titled in my name. New registration good for another year.

Average NADA selling price with options is $8435. This motorcycle is well above average condition. You will find the reserve price is below the buy it now price, but why risk losing the auction?

Purchasing this motorcycle is an excellent opportunity to fly in and take a leisurely ride to your home.

You are responsible for arranging transportation of the motorcycle. I will be available to meet the carrier of your choice at my home.

EICMA 2012: BMW Announces New Boxer to Mark 90th Anniversary

Tue, 13 Nov 2012

Over the summer, we came across spy photos of a new naked version of the BMW S1000RR and a new air-cooled boxer roadster and hoped at least one of the two would be unveiled at either Intermot or the EICMA. Intermot came and went without a word and now EICMA is upon us we have … well, several words but no new model. Yet.
