BMW Motorrad III GPS BMW original equipment panniers, topbox and tankbag. Rotopax additional I gallon fuel and water cannisters with locking mounts beneath rear panniers for when empty. Two additional custom made tool boxes that bolt onto passenger footrest mounts. (No tools included) Wunderlich active comfort rally dual seat (+ original) Touratech Desierto 3 Screen and fairing. Touratech protection to brake and clutch mastercylinders, ABS and ESA sensors, fuel injection units, oil cooler, and front suspension steering stop. Touratech tank pouches. Perspex headlamp guard. It has run the Dempster and the Dalton and has the scratches to prove it. If you are looking for an overland ready GS suitable to head north to Prudhoe this summer or south to Patagonia then this bike is the one. It would need a new set of tyres and a soft bag on the rear rack and the GPS software updated and it would be ready to go The bike is also being advertised locally in South Carolina so I reserve the right to withdraw it from sale. Spy Video Provides Up-Close Look at 2014 BMW R1200RT/R1200GT
Wed, 17 Apr 2013Last month, we published spy photos of what appeared to be some prototypes of the 2014 BMW R1200RT sport-tourer undergoing testing somewhere in southern France. Unfortunately, the photographs were captured from far away, preventing us from seeing many details apart from the new water-cooled Boxer engine from the new GS and what appears to be the adaptive headlight from the K1600GT and GTL. Thankfully, a new video has surfaced, providing an up-close look at the new R1200RT.
BMW Reportedly Discussing Partnership with India’s TVS Motor
Mon, 09 Jul 2012BMW is reportedly in talks with TVS Motor to develop new motorcycles for India. A potential BMW-TVS partership would follow similar arrangements between Bajaj Auto and KTM and between Hero MotoCorp and Erik Buell Racing. The Wall Street Journal reports the two companies are discussing a possible technological alliance.
