1995 BMW R100RT Classic Edition in exceptional condition. The best R100RT BMW ever made. 13,608 miles since engine rebuilt by BMW Certified shop at 79,788 miles (fully documented) thus 93,396 total miles. Everything that needed to be adjusted or replaced has been done over time. Steering is tight, great brakes, smooth and good power range, etc. It is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. Previously owned by long distance rider so all had to be in top order at all times to ride those long highway miles. It comes with two BMW high mileage awards on the side cases (see pics). BMW gives these awards to the person riding, not to the bike. Bike is not a trailer queen but a long distance touring in exceptional condition for its age and miles. The kit aimed at trackday goers, replaces parts removed by owners prior to taking their bike out on track. Covers for the numberplate hanger, mirrors and indicators – all of which have been designed to facilitate simple and easy removal - neatly fill any gaps left by the removed parts.
New: Touratech Ambato Exp tank bag for BMW R1200GS
Wed, 18 Sep 2013TOURATECH now makes an expandable tank bag to match BMW’s R1200GS in red and silver. The touring accessory firm’s "Ambato Exp" tank bag has been on sale for a month but until now only in black or black and white. It features a model-specific base plate for quick-release attachment to the R1200GS, waterproof inserts and Cordura fabric described as “tear proof”.

Fri, 01 Aug 2008I’ve been wearing this waterproof textile jacket since March and it’s performed very well. The silver colour shows up dirt something rotten, there’s a stark lack of useful pockets and the cut is quite square, but as a jacket to keep the cold and water out it’s been right up to the job. It’s my daily commuting top, one of those jackets you throw on without thinking about it, and now that it’s summer I can’t see the point in getting a replacement anytime soon.
