Selling my BMW ( originally a R100RT )
I bought this motorcycle approx 3 years ago. The previous owner modified ( cosmetically ) to look more like a Cafe look. I have never had a problem mechanically and this bike starts right up, every time. ( electric ) Yes, it has nicks / scrapes/ dings / paint touch up / seat has been re-configured and shortened, but the bike is a very reliable ride. Due to knee surgery just cant risk keeping this bike Just has to go. |

Sat, 03 Sep 2016The future generation of the "1-liter" naked BMW S1000R was spotted during the development tests on the territory of the German racing "ring" Oschersleben. Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.
2013 BMW C600 Sport Recalled in Canada for Loose Fairings
Tue, 04 Dec 2012BMW‘s maxi-scooters have only just started going on sale in North America and already there’s a recall for the 2013 BMW C600 Sport in Canada. According to Transport Canada, the fairing side panels on certain BMW C600 Sport scooters can loosen and detach while moving at very high speeds. In such a situation, the detached fairing poses a hazard to the rider and passenger as well as other vehicles and bystanders.
