BMW R-Series description

Gorgeous vintage motorcycle, garage kept, all original german parts (hence the KM in title). Recent maintenance includes resealed gas tank, battery replaced, all light bulbs replaced, etc. This bike includes original saddlebags and mounts, worth about $500 now. Also, the bike is a burnt red color with no real damage to speak off, aside from minor nicks and dings (ex. small scratch on leather, small scrape on gauge from the keys etc)
I went to start it up recently and discovered a leak in the right carb due to worn gaskets and floats. Will need to be gone through.
Still fires up and runs!

But Broomall won’t think twice about auctioning his BMW S1000RR later this month, as a donation to the Austin Hatcher Foundation (AHF) for Pediatric Cancer.

I never had that moment of discovery and finding out 'who I really am' and to some extent it's a regret. GERMAN TUNING house AC Schnitzer has unveiled a gaggle of bolt-on accessories for the BMW S1000RR superbike.The kit comprises of: Stealth silencer, Superbike steering conversion, clutch and brake levers, crashpads, Performance Sports Air Filter, mirror extensions, brake fluid - need we go on. There's even a top yoke mounted bar kit for those that don't want to reach down to the standard bike's low clip-ons.Sounds all fine and dandy if you've a heap of cash to chuck at what's already an expensive machine.Call us boring but isn't a 'standard' one good enough?
