BMW R-Series description

This Motorcycle has been in the family for about 26 years. It has about 36,000 miles and counting. I have the lower pieces to the fairing but I don't have the hardware. The lower pieces are still painted the original blue. This year the front brake master cylinder and one front brake caliper were replaced. The bike has a new clutch cable, Air filter and oil filter. the bike runs well. It could be a daily driver if needed. The rear shocks are Works Performance custom low shocks for someone about 5 foot 7 inches to ride comfortably. Saddle bags and fairing bags come with the bike. Brown side stand. This bike does have an electronic ignition witch may not be stock for this model. Buyer will have to arrange and pay shipping if you cannot pick up.

Used Review: Clover GT3 jacket

Fri, 01 Aug 2008

I’ve been wearing this waterproof textile jacket since March and it’s performed very well. The silver colour shows up dirt something rotten, there’s a stark lack of useful pockets and the cut is quite square, but as a jacket to keep the cold and water out it’s been right up to the job. It’s my daily commuting top, one of those jackets you throw on without thinking about it, and now that it’s summer I can’t see the point in getting a replacement anytime soon.

WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
