BMW R-Series description

Low mileage 1977 BMW R75/7. Bike was purchased from the original owner who had not ridden it for several years. The mileage is accurate and all original documents, including the Bill of Sale, owners manual, and tool kit are included. The tank, fenders, and side covers were recently professioally painted. The tires are Dunlop and were replaced within the last 500 miles. The mufflers were replaced after I purchased the bike. It has a Brown side stand, and K&N air filter. Just replaced handlebar grips and foot peg rubbers. The Bike runs, stops and shifts great. All the lights and horn work. This a beautiful low mileage BMW . I'm selling the bike due to advancing age. Going to concentrate on a 4 wheel project. The bike has a clear Florida title in my name.

Used Review: Arai RX-7 Corsair helmet

Thu, 01 Apr 2010

This is the lid that saved me from a face full of road and stopped a big bacon slicer (a front disc) from carving a canyon in the top of my head.  This helmet was transformed from gleaming white accessory to scrap when I got back from taking the new BMW S1000RR to Morocco. A pedestrian ran into me from behind a bus and the two of us hit the ground. She’s okay and so am I apart from getting knocked out and breaking my shoulder.

Harald Kitsch and the Pegasus Race Team has won its second championship on the EBR 1190RR, capturing the 2011 European Superbike open race class title. The championship follows Kitsch’s win in the 2010 Sound of Thunder V-Twin Championship on the Erik Buell Racing racebike. While the Sound of Thunder championship was won against other V-Twin machines, the European Superbike class included sportbikes from the Japanese Big Four, BMW, Aprilia and Ducati.
