This is a beautiful example of a 1975 BMW R 90/6 motorcycle , it only has 55,000 miles on the odometer but it's had tons of mechanical work done in the last 5000 miles! It has a recovered seat, new drag style handlebars, new chrome motor protector, rebuild carburetors this summer, fires up and runs like a Swiss watch every time ,I would ride this motorcycle anywhere! It is mechanically as solid as the rock of Gibraltar! Check out the pictures of the motor, and you could eat off every bit of it even the undercarriage! 125 pounds of compression on both cylinders, brand-new compression! This bike needs nothing other than a paint job, the red you see is a rattle can job, but is still presentable. The original hard luggage comes with, this is a gem of a /6 BMW ,Low mileage for its age all electrics work ,tires have tons of life left ,really really clean in every way!! New: BMW System 6 Evo helmet
Fri, 12 Apr 2013BMW has released the new System 6 Evo flip-front helmet. It retains the clean lines of the System 6, while increasing levels of comfort and practicality with a more scratch-resistant internal sun visor, a more robust visor mechanism designed to make operation with gloved hands easier, improved ventilation control on the chin, and a revised spoiler for better aerodynamics. BMW says it has a unique chin bar pivot which reduces the size of the helmet when the chin bar is upright. Weighing in at 1.57kg, the ECE 22-05 homologated Evo is a quiet lid, with noise levels registering at 84-86 dBA at 62 mph. The helmet comes ready for installation of the BMW Communication system, offering a Bluetooth connection to the BMW Navigator IV sat-nav, music players, mobile phones and other BMW helmets.
