BMW R-Series description
1974 BMW R90/6 with only 12,877 Original Miles ! I am listing this for a buddy in our Vintage Motorcycle Club. He has a couple other Vintage Bikes plus a Trike Project and needs to make room in his workshop. Great Bike - please take a close look. Started with a Vetter Windjammer Faired, 900cc 5 Speed BMW Original Paint in White. Triple Matching Numbers – Frame, Motor and Neck Tag. Vetter was removed and a period correct Wixom Fairing with Original Windscreen was sourced. Wixom Fairing and Tour Pack were painted and striped to very closely match the Original BMW color. Fenders and Side Panels are still Original Paint. There are a couple scratches on the tank from taking the seat on/off – please see pics. Drive Train is Stock with Original Carbs & Air Filter systems. Exhaust & Mufflers are in good shape. Tires are new with approx. 200 miles on them and Brakes are good. Starts & Runs well. All Instruments, Lights and the Horn work as they should. I also own a 1974 R90/6 that I have ridden from Ohio to Daytona, Sturgis, Myrtle Beach, Blue Ridge, etc. My R90 keeps up easily with “New Bikes” on the trips. I have personally ridden this White R90/6 and it performs as well as my bike does. Vetter Fairing and “All Day” Seat included in sale. Buyer agrees to $500.00 deposit through PayPal at conclusion of Auction and Balance to be paid by Wire Transfer to seller’s bank within 5 days of Auction close. Buyer may elect to pick up BMW @ seller location north of Cincinnati in Ohio, USA. Buyer responsible for all shipping costs and related insurances. Also being sold / offered locally. I will attempt to answer any questions you may have. Good Luck Bidding ! |

Wed, 02 Apr 2014A notice to any potential law breakers out there: Victory is getting in on the police bike business. Using stock Cross Country models modified with only lights and sirens, the Victorys may not be as ill-equipped for chases (at least slow speed, parking lot chases) as you might think. Just check out this video below for proof.
