This classic bmw moto has been meticulously maintained and garage kept since I purchased it last year. She starts right up and runs strong and smooth. I've taken frequent multi-day rides through rural TN & KY and she's never left me stranded. She's a tank.
No rust except on the bottom of the seat pan, which is very minimal. 49k miles. Feel free to call/email/text 615.414.6221 Full tuneup (all fluids, valve clearances, carbs tuned) in May. To my eyes, the GS does a fine job of maintaining a traditional dirtbike’s minimalist appearance, minus those bulging cylinders protruding from either end. But now more than ever, thanks to the introduction of liquid-cooling, the GS is a modern marvel of mechanical and electrical engineering.
