BMW R-Series description
Nice old BMW with Steib sidecar.Original paint.Have original toolkit and manuals.I bought the bike in 2003 from well known BMW dealer and AHRMA competitor Ozzie Auer.It was Ozzie's BMW in Chico,CA.The motor was redone by well known BMW mechanic and have all receipts.New magneto.New tires.Was recently ridden in Moto Giro 2015 in Ashville,NC.This is a matching numbers bike.This bike came with the sidecar from the factory.It came with the # 2717 on the differential,correct and proper rims and rear.Had trunk in sidecar.The sidecar was laser lined by Benchmark Works in Missippi.The front end was redone by them as well.Call Tim at 410-937-8480 for more details.

BSB Superstock Championship Winning BMW S1000RR Stolen
Mon, 26 Sep 2011British Superbike racer Richard Cooper’s BMW S1000RR racebike was stolen mere hours after winning the 2011 British national Superstock title. Thieves reportedly broke into the Buildbase BMW race team’s truck after it returned to the team’s base in Leicestershire, England, from the series-clinching round at Britain’s Silverstone circuit. According to the team, thieves optained the keys to a van holding Cooper’s winning motorcycle and Superbike class racer John Laverty’s BMW S1000RR Superbike.
European Motorcycle Market Down 38% Since 2006
Wed, 25 Jan 2012New motorcycle registrations in Europe decreased 8.9% in 2011, reaching its lowest level in a decade. And with the state of the economy in Europe, things might get worse. According to provisional numbers released by the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, Europeans registered 1.72 million motorcycles, scooters and mopeds in 2011, down from 1.89 million registrations in 2010.
