2012 BMW R1200GSA Neck Here's my 2012 GS Adventure, I'm the 1st owner. It's now just turned 33,870 trouble free miles. It been completely serviced (30K), ANTI LOCK BRAKES flush and new Anakee III's with a couple thousand miles on them. It's a like new GSA, No scratches on the tank or anywhere else. Buyer is responsible for shipping but if need be I can suggest a couple of shippers I have had attractive dealings with in the past. I can deliver it to my local dealer for commercial pickup. New naked BMW spotted on track days

The future generation of the "1-liter" naked BMW S1000R was spotted during the development tests on the territory of the German racing "ring" Oschersleben. Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.

We already know BMW started 2012 off with a record first quarter with 24,373 motorcycles sold, with an additional 2,642 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary. BMW‘s quarterly report now reveals the U.S. accounted for 3,429 units sold in the first three months of the year, a 47.9% increase from 2,319 units over the same quarter of 2011.

IIHS Asks NHTSA to Make ABS Brakes Mandatory for All Street-legal Motorcycles in US

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the Highway Loss Data Institute have submitted a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration petitioning in favor of making anti-lock brakes mandatory for all new on-highway motorcycles. The letter, addressed to David Strickland, NHTSA administrator, included a recent IIHS study on the effects of ABS on motorcycle fatal crash rates. The report found ABS technology reduces the rate of fatal crashes by 31%, while collision claim rates were 20% lower with ABS-equipped motorcycles.
