2014 BMW K1600GTL Exclusive Outed in CARB Documents

A new document released by the California Air Resources Board reveals the more luxurious K1600GTL may be getting its own special variant as well. CARB released a new executive order for its 2014 K16 models including theK1600GTL Exclusive alongside the regular K1600GTL and the K1600GT.
2012 BMW S1000RR Engine Recall
Thu, 26 Apr 2012BMW is issuing a recall on the 2012 BMW S1000RR because of a risk of engine failure. According to a post on the official BMW Motorcycles USA Facebook page, the connecting rod bolts may loosen and fall out. This may result cause the engine to seize, creating the risk of a crash.

Recently reviewed by our EiC Kevin Duke, the 2013 BMW R1200GS is nearly completely re-designed, with the most notable new feature being a new 1170cc boxer engine with small radiators providing what BMW calls “Precision Cooling“.
