BMW Other description

2013 BMW K 1300 S, Looking for performance and style? Contact our BMW Client Advisor Chris Horrar for further details.2013 BMW K 1300 SThe interceptor. The athlete. Aerodynamic, avant-garde. Do you know of another sporty bike with this profile? A bike that develops such pulling power with 175 hp that it take the heat out of many a 200 hp bike? But a bike you can still take out on a quick trip simply because it has great everyday suitability? At the same time a technological treat? The reasons: 103 ft-lb of torque from 1,293 cc and at 8,250 rpm too. With a throaty sound from a cool, hexagonal tube. With catalytic converter and exhaust valve. And with fuel consumption and exhaust emission values which would suit many a machine with half the dynamic performance. With this jet, the whole concept of speed moves into a new dimension. This in-line 4-cylinder delivers its power in such a way that you can almost feel it when standing still. That s because within the engine speed ranges in which you move more than 80% of the time i.e. the lower and medium speed ranges it delivers performance from the first yard. The real thing. And in terms of safety features, this machine is unique: ABS as standard with ASC and ESA optional. And the extras are amazing: race through the gears with the gear shift assistant, pure racing in view with the 2D HP dashboard. The BMW K 1300 S: supreme power with the sportiest of understatement. Why not try it out right away!Dynamic PackageNext exit - top performance: with the new Dynamic Package for the K 1300 S you are fully equipped, whether for multi-day trips or shorter spirited rides. The racing inspired HP Gear Shift Assist enables you to change gears quickly, putting you right up front without accelerator release or clutch. The heated grips with two-level adjustment and the on-board computer ensure dynamic riding fun, while the Safety Package with ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor) enhances safety. Also included is ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) which allows you to change your suspension setting on the move, at any time to adapt to varying road conditions, riding styles and load. The K 1300 S Dynamic Package can be combined with any color option. The BMW K 1300 S with Dynamic Package: the perfect combination of power, versatility and safety.

Seeley On Form On First Night Of North West 200

Fri, 16 May 2014

Alastair Seeley took a double in the Ballymoney Borough council Supersport and Pirtek Superstock events at the start of racing at the Vauxhall International North West 200 this evening, what many “real” road racers refer to as the precursor to the Isle Of Man TT. In the Supersport race, the ‘Wee Wizard’ survived being caught up in a first lap crash at York hairpin that left him languishing in 16th to come through and win the opening race of the night on his Mar-Train Yamaha R6. Lee Johnston was the rider who went down in the first lap crash, causing Seeley to take evasive action to avoid going down himself.
